Splice
Splice explores the exterior and its opacity, the skin and its ‘territory’: the boundaries of our bodies defined as exterior and interior. Latex, glass, light and pillows is employed and used repetitively in rational systems of ordering and within these boundaries biological corrosion stains the surface.
A grid bulges and spills, erupts and tips – defying the rationalism of the grid. Working with light and transparency, under the surface to an expansive interior, where the separations between interior and exterior fall. We are neither in nor out, but rather falling in between.
